A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IN NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR HELPING PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador is a non-profit organization that works with and on behalf of persons with intellectual disabilities in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are committed to creating awareness among the people of Newfoundland and Labrador about the importance of the initiatives of Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador to the lives of the 15,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as their families and communities.

Our Mission

To work with and on behalf of individuals with an intellectual disability and their families. To advocate for individuals to live as full participants in the community based on the values of equality, inclusion and independence.

Inclusive Education Award 2024

Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador hosts and presents the Inclusive Education Award every year to honour a K-12 school in Newfoundland and Labrador that has shown an exceptional spirit in creating a school that is welcoming and inclusive for students with an intellectual disability.

I AM ABLE

This video was created for the 60th anniversary of Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador. It was designed to emphasize the importance of focusing on the abilities of all individuals.
