Provincial Incentive Program

PROVINCIAL INCENTIVE PROGRAM FROM INCLUSION CANADA NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR

On January 13, 2010, with the announcement of new funding for Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador, the Provincial Government demonstrated its continued efforts to reduce barriers to financial independence for persons.

At that time the Honourable Susan Sullivan was the Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons with Disabilities. Minister Sullivan announced a funding commitment for this initiative.

Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador will use these funds through its Provincial Incentive Program. This program will promote the uptake of the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) throughout the province by providing eligible individuals with an opportunity to participate in RDSP information sessions, as well as receiving a one-time $150 stipend from Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador as an extra incentive to set up a RDSP.

By filling out the Provincial Incentive Program form you are eligible to receive $150 from us to contribute to your Registered Disability Savings Plan.
